Wallet Tiers & Badges

Overview

Users are placed into one of four tiers based on their SOLID Score and may also earn badges that recognize specific areas of expertise, engagement, and activity within the ecosystem.

Tier Breakdown

Tier 1 – Elite & High-Value Wallets

  • Top 1% of all wallets

  • The most exclusive and high-quality wallets in the ecosystem

  • Represents the most active users, high-value traders, and top contributors

Tier 2 – Established & Highly Engaged

  • Top 10% of all wallets

  • Includes active traders, stakers, and DeFi participants

  • Consistently engages in on-chain activities with meaningful volume and frequency

Tier 3 – Moderate Activity & Engagement

  • Next 25% of wallets (excluding those in Tier 1 & 2)

  • Participates in on-chain activities but with lower frequency or volume

  • Engages with DeFi, NFTs, or staking, but at a moderate level

Tier 4 – New & Low-Activity Wallets

  • Represents new users or wallets with minimal on-chain history

  • Limited transaction volume, trading, or staking activity

  • Majority of wallets fall into this category

Badges & Additional Identifiers

Beyond tiers, Solana ID assigns badges to wallets based on specific behaviors, engagement patterns, and achievements. These badges allow projects and partners to identify high-value users and tailor incentives accordingly.

Performance-Based Badges

General Activity

  • Solana Power User – Highly engaged across multiple activities within the Solana ecosystem.

  • Solana OG – Early adopter or long-term contributor with a well-established presence.

  • Hodler – Maintains long-term holdings, demonstrating strong conviction.

  • Diverse Hodler – Holds a well-balanced, diversified portfolio across various assets.

DEX Trading

  • DEX Trader – Engages frequently in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading.

  • Multiplatform DEX Trader – Trades across multiple DEXs, showcasing adaptability.

  • Risk Taker – Trades high-volatility or speculative assets, taking calculated risks.

NFT Trading

  • NFT Trader – Regularly buys and sells NFTs, contributing to marketplace liquidity.

  • Multiplatform NFT Trader – Trades NFTs across multiple marketplaces.

  • Diverse NFT Trader – Holds or trades a wide variety of NFTs across different collections.

Liquidity Providing

  • Liquidity Provider – Actively supplies liquidity to DeFi pools and trading pairs.

  • Multiplatform Liquidity Provider – Engages in liquidity provisioning across multiple protocols.

  • Diverse Liquidity Provider – Provides liquidity across various asset pairs and pools.

Native Staking

  • Native Staker – Actively stakes large amounts of SOL for extended periods.

Why Badges Matter

These badges provide deeper user insights, allowing projects to fine-tune their offerings and ensuring that the most engaged users receive tailored benefits and opportunities.
